On the pacing side, Camluck ($ 16,722,295) edged out Western Hanover ($ 14,954,162) for all ages top sire. Western Hanover passed away in 2007 and he will be sorely missed. He is the dominant sire in the Most Happy Fella - No Nukes line, while Camluck (together with Cam's Card Shark, Cambest +++) is a top producer of the Most Happy Fella - Cam Fella line. The 3rd major pacing stallion line is Abercrombie - Artsplace, represented by such top pacing sires as Art Major and Artiscape.
With regard to trotters, Andover Hall ($ 9,304,261) was the top trotting stallion in 2007, and he did it with just 154 starters!!! A close second was brother Angus Hall ($ 9,243,206) with 347 starters, and right there in third was Muscles Yankee ($ 8,186,588) producing big numbers from 243 starters. Muscles Yankee was also the top sire of two-year-old trotters.
